Monte Shanks, Ph.D.
Dr. Shanks is a professor for the Divinity school at Liberty University where he teaches graduate courses in New Testament. He also teaches seminars for Calvary University's Bible and Theology PhD degree program. He earned a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary with a double major in Bible Exposition and Christian Education, as well as a Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a double major in New Testament studies and Patristic studies. He has written several articles and is the author of "Papias and the New Testament."
